2016 Winter anime Part 4: TV anime 4

As of I’m writing this now, it is still 2015 in my time zone (PST) but it will be over in less than 6 hours. These four 2016 Winter anime post will be my last post in 2015. And I’ll come back and post the rest of the OVA and Film in 2016! =D

The protagonist is living alone for the first time after finding employment. At his tiny, no-bath apartment he finds a landlord who looks like a little sister. She does the cooking and housework, so sometimes she seems like a grandmother, but she also enjoys a normal middle school life with her friends.

Shirayuki is a beautiful girl working as a medicine woman with red hair, a color that is considered very rare. When she is proposed and chased after by the prince of her country, she cuts her hair and runs away, only to meet Zen, the prince of a neighboring country. Finding respect for the young man, she decides to serve at his side as his court doctor.

Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm is set on an archipelago of four islands far south of Japan. From the discovery of anti-gravitons came the dream invention of anti-graviton shoes that let people fly the skies. This led to the rise of the sport of dogfight racing. The protagonist who once hoped for a future in this sport suffered a setback due to an overwhelming defeat, and withdrew from the sport for this and some other reason. However, he met the transfer student Haruka Kurashina, and in teaching her to fly the skies, his old passion returned.

Lux, a former prince of an empire named Arcadia that was overthrown via a rebellion five years earlier. Lux accidentally trespasses in a female dormitory’s bathing area, sees the kingdom’s new princess Lisesharte naked, and incurs her wrath. Lisesharte then challenges Lux to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons that have been excavated from ruins all around the world. Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he’s known as the “undefeated weakest” Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights.

Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou ii Desu Kara follows Yuzuka Hanami, a young girl who has few friends but who can do anything. One day, Yuzuka gets accosted by a strange creature named Miton who is digging through a trash dump. Miton tells Yuzuka, “you have the makings of a magical girl” and seems extremely suspicious. When Yuzuka is suddenly transformed into a magical girl, she’s wearing a bathing suit.

Fourth season of Ketsuekigata-kun!. The anime adapted from the Japanese remake version of the Korean webtoon “A Simple Thinking about Bloodtype” which discusses typical blood type-related stereotypes in Japan and Korea using the faceless characters each representing different bloodtypes.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! centers around Kazuma Satou, a hikikomori otaku. A traffic accident brings his disappointingly brief life to an end… or it should have, but he wakes up and sees a beautiful girl who introduces herself as a goddess. “Hey, I have some good news — would you like to go to an alternate world? You may only bring one thing you like with you.” He responds, “…So, I’ll bring you.” With that, he is transported to another world and his great adventure subjugating the demon king begins.

17 years ago, immortals first appeared on the battlefields of Africa. Later, rare, unknown new immortal lifeforms began appearing among humans, and they became known as “Ajin” (demi-humans). Just before summer vacation, a Japanese high school student is instantly killed in a traffic accident on his way home from school. However, he is revived, and a price is placed on his head. Thus begins a boy’s life on the run from all of humankind.

The “pathetic and beautiful” story revolves around Chiharu, who is a wizard in charge of the magic department’s counter-measure division. His days are hectic, but he meets a candid young man named Toyohi at his favorite bar, and the two hit it off. On their way home, Toyohi suddenly confesses to Chiharu. Chiharu is at first bewildered at his unexpected confession, but he starts to fall into Toyohi’s pace, and the two begin to spend more time together. However, after a mistake at work, Chiharu decides to devote himself to his work and pushes Toyohi away.

“Fairilu” are fairies of flowers, insects, mermaids, or other entities that are born from “Farilu Seeds.” All Fairilu are born with their own key, and they must search to find and open the door that fits only their key. Once the Fairilu pass through the doors, they mature. The doors are also related to the human world.

Mirai is a 13-year-old girl who lives in the human word. One day she witnesses a mysterious object fall from the sky into the park. Excitedly, she brings her stuffed bear Mofurun with her to see what it was. When she gets there she sees a girl named Riko flying on a broom. Riko is of the same age and from the magical world. Mirai has a lot of questions, and Riko explains that she’s searching for a jewel with strong powers called “Link Stone Emerald.”

Then Batti, an ally of the dark magic users Dokurokushi, appears before them and demands that Riko hand over the “Link Stone Emerald,” which Riko herself had been looking for. To make things worse, Batti uses dark magic to create a monster known as a Yokubaru! Mirai and Riko join hands and with the magic words “Cure-up Rapapa!” they transform into the legendary Pretty Cure.
