Since we don’t have any figure news today, I’ll just post some random things that I find on the web. Since there is only a month to go for the movie Evangelion 2.0 You can (not) Advance ( 新劇場版エヴァンゲリオン「破」 ), there are a lot of related products released to the market in Japan.

Convenience store franchise LAWSON has launched a campaign (May 26 to June 8 ) featuring the movie, releasing various food and stuffs with original freebie plastic folder. You can check out their EVA webpage here. All the products looks so great that I wish I’m in Japan now. =’(

      Thats a TSUNAMI of Evangelion stuff. I am interested in the folders, the ramen and everything Ayanami Rei… :)

      I think I’m gonna have some ramen today!

      Some yummy looking snacks up there. I’ve always liked movie tie in snacks… I actually almost bought a bag of Snickers yesterday because it had yellow nugat promoting Transformers the movie(BumbleBee was on the bag).

      Disney used to do special candy and things for it’s movies. I remember the Nestle Crunch bars that would have character art on them from Pochahontas and I think Hunchback of Notredame(sp?). But they didn’t really give away toys.

      Is it just me or does that strawberry jam and margarin roll look pretty unappetizing? Also doesn’t that Evangelion key cover ball look like a Pokeball? That combination would certaintly make things weird and interesting.:)

      Yea, the strawberry jam and margarin roll doesn’t looks so good to me either. Don’t expect too much for just 120 yen. =P
