Bandai (manufactured by Max Factory) is going to release the figma trainee Cute ( 見習い戦士 キュート) action figure bundled with the PSP game “Queen’s Blade Spiral Chaos” fighting pack ( クイーンズブレイド スパイラルカオス 激闘パック ). Will be released on December 17, 2009, 9,800 yen. Castoffable.

June 13 2009: Updated with more pic and info for “Shift Body”

Here is another figure-bundled-with-game scam. The “fighting pack” bundle comes with (1) the nice design box, (2) the figma Cute, (3) the “voice CD” by the TV anime cast, and (4) the PSP game “Queen’s Blade Spiral Chaos”. You can also get the official QB Spiral Chaos visial book if you pre-order this bundle in advance.

The game QB Spiral Chaos looks not bad. It follows the usual QB turn base game system. Which also means you can attack your opponents until their armor and the panty fall off. =P

The figma Cute comes with 2 faces, 2 swords, 4 set of hands, and the figma body is used the new “Shift Body” design. They didn’t mention anything about the “Shift Body” yet, they only said Cute is the first figure that are using the “Shift Body” in the figma series. From the photos, beside her bulky outfit, she doesn’t looks so different from the other figma to me. Maybe she is castoffable???

June 13 2009: Yes, she is castoffable! Well, actually it’s not really cast-off, it’s just they included another body for you to change to the damage clothes version.

Max Factory finally announced what “Shift Body” means. It means “exchange body” ( shift＝交換、body＝体 ). Just like what I said, they included another part of the body for you to change. The “Shift Body” is for display purpose only which included the body, upper arms, and tights. The “Shift Body” isn’t posable so once you change to it, not much you can do with the pose.
