MegaHouse is going to release Excellent Model Core Veteran Mercenary Echidna ( 歴戦の傭兵 エキドナ ) Special Edition 1/8 PVC figure from the anime/visual book “Queen’s Blade”. Will be released in August 2009, around 170mm tall, 6,000 yen. Castoffable.

Here is the re-release of the Megahouse Echidna. Just like the previous announced re-release Steel Princess Yumir, the original Echidna was one of the earlest and also one of the most popular QB figures from Megahouse. I think this is the fifth edition of her already. There were the original Ver., a dark color Ver., a 2P poisoned color Ver., and a event limited blue Ver. I’m not sure about the existence of the event limited one since I only read it on BBS but never saw one tho.

Oh, btw, if you’re interested in the Echidna artbook, you can buy it from Play-Asia. They still have some in stock. =D

The photos below are the original Echidna which was released in January 2007. Just like all the other Queen’s Blade figures from Megahouse, she is castoffable. She got painted *pupil but too bad she has no *detail under the panty snake.

Again, FYI, there is no *detail under the big “NEKO” mark. But still I have to censor it in order to keep Nekomagic work safe.

      I’m not sure about the event limited blue version but I know their was a red one released. I saw it in the queen’s blade figure visual collection thingy mook.

      I think she is obviously what she is ,a classic ,and I have my one,of course,which is bronze skinned and looks gorgeous.I hope that the ECHIDNA standing up than is just as handsome.
