The anime film Inazuma Eleven GO vs Danball Senki W is created by studio OLM (Oriental Light and Magic), based on the latest entries in two of their anime franchises – Inazuma Eleven GO and Danball Senki W, in turn based on the respective game series developed by Level-5. In the movie’s story, the worlds of those two franchises will be “completely combined in one”.

The 11th One Piece anime film is once again created by Toei Animation, based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular pirate manga. The film is set in the manga and anime’s New World story arc, right after the series’ Fishman Island story, and features the Straw Hat pirate crew against their “strongest enemy yet”, a man named “Z” – who will engage in a “heroic battle” with Luffy.

The anime film Kaiketsu Zorori Da-Da-Da-Daibouken! is created by studios Sunrise and Asia-Do, as the first full-length feature film adaptation of Yutaka Hara’s Kaiketsu Zorori (The Incredible Zorori) children’s books. The original story follows Zorori, a mischievous bandit fox who dreams of becoming the “King of Pranks”. Zorori aims to “build my own castle and make a beautiful princess my wife”, and he embarks on one misadventure after another with his two boar companions – Ishishi and Noshishi. In the film, Zorori is after a trove of riches discovered by the treasure hunter Zorondo Ron.

The anime film Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist) follows the 2011 TV anime series and is once again created by studio A-1 Pictures, based on a supernatural manga by Kazue Katou. The original story follows Rin Okumura, a boy raised by a famous exorcist named Father Fujimoto. After an argument between the two, Rin discovers he is the son of Satan. Rin decides to fight his fate by joining the True Cross Academy to become an exorcist and defeat demons. However, when he draws his father’s sword, it releases a dark power within him.

The anime film Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge is created by studio Madhouse and, like the TV anime series that began in 2011, it is based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s fantasy manga Hunter x Hunter. The movie is a “dramatic action” film with a completely original story centered around the character Kurapika, who became a hunter to seek revenge on the Phantom Troupe for the massacre of his clan. The Phantom Troupe will make an appearance in the film, and the “rouge” in the title refers to the red eyes of the Kurta clan that Kurapika hails from.

The 2012 anime films Berserk form an animated trilogy project that revives Kentarou Miura’s dark fantasy manga in anime form, after first being animated as the 1997 TV series Kenpuu Denki Berserk. This time, however, the anime is created by Studio 4°C with an abundance of CG effects. The complete project should ultimately adapt the entire story from the manga.

The anime film Star Driver the Movie follows the 2010 TV anime series created by studio Bones as an original mecha work. The movie is a “new construction” of the Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto story that revolves around the fates of Takuto, Wako, and Sugata. It also features an all-new segment about their lives after the story of the TV series.

The anime film Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion) is created by studio J.C. Staff (with CG work by studio Sanzigen), based on the light novel series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura. In the movie’s story, just before the completion of the Academy City space elevator “Endymion”, the main characters Kamijo and Index encounter a level 0 girl named Arisa. The Magicians are after Arisa, and they attack Academy City. A female leader named Shattoaura leads a unit from Academy City against the attack. Kamijyo and Index learn from Stiyl that Arisa is key to a brewing war between the sides of Magic and Science.
