Kotobukiya is going to release the Misaka Mikoto ( 御坂 美琴 ) 1/8 PVC figure from the light novel “A Certain Magical Index” ( とある魔術の禁書目録, To Aru Majutsu no Index). Will be released in October 2008. Around 200mm tall, 6,090 yen.

You know what? “A Certain Magical Index” is having a anime adoption! The release date is still unknown. Maybe Autumn 2008 or Spring 2009? I never read the light novel since I don’t like to read text as you know me. I read the manga tho, for both “Magical Index” and the side story “A Certain Scientific Railgun” (とある科学の超電磁砲). I prefer the “Railgun” since there are less fighting scene and more loli.

Mikoto is just a side character in “Magical Index”, but she is the main protagonist in “Scientific Railgun”. Btw, she is the “Railgun” FYI. She is a powerful psychic users that can turn a coin or any small things and launch it as a railgun (as you can see in this figure). Although she is a loli, she is those “onee-san” character in the story.
