Max Factory is going to release the figma 027 Seto San ( 瀬戸燦 ) action figure from the manga/anime “Seto no Hanayome” ( 瀬戸の花嫁 ). Will be released in January 2009. Around 145mm tall, 2,500 yen.

I never has the chance to watch the anime, but as usual, I do read the manga. I like this show, it’s very funny. But the manga is very hard to come by (in my region), I only have the Vol. 1-7 and 9.

I found two interesting things about this figma. First, she is 145mm tall. That’s pretty tall for female figma! FYI, Konata is only 130mm, Nanoha is 130mm, and Miku is 140mm. Well of coz there are some female figma like this tall such as Kanu (145mm) and Tsuruya-san (150mm). But not like Kanu or Tsuruya-san, Seto is pretty short in the story. I wonder why Max Factory make her that tall like this.

Second thing is her hair color. In order to cut the production cost, Max Factory stopped to add highlight on the hair of figma for a long time (since #004?), but this Seto San, for some reason they decided to add it! Wow, it looks so nice. But I wonder if they will do it in the production models too.
