WAVE is going to release the Treasure Figure Collection Beach Queens Izumi Konata ( 泉こなた ) 1/10 PVC figure figure from the manga/anime “Lucky Star” ( らき☆すた ). Will be released in August 2010. Around 110mm tall, 3,800 yen.
Wow, I bet these BQ Kagami and Konata is the best looking Lucky Star figure so far. I’m going to both of them for sure! Thank you WAVE, you did a good job for used one of my farovite sculptors, Chizuru ( 千鶴 ) from “Turu no Yakata” ( 鶴の館 ), to make these two figures. I like her works a lot. If you have me in your facebook, you can see that I have 2 of her recent works in my GK photo seletion.
The WF2010[Winter] is over and I’m still haven’t post all of the photos yet. I’ll post the rest of the images I have tomorrow. The amount of photos really makes me crazy. It takes me a lot of time to organzie them. (@@.

Ahh~ Konata looks so cute(& flat chest ftw XD)
They’re both really cute… but I wonder about the final quality. The Wave Taiga has made me shy about preordering.
What happen with Taiga’s production quality? Personally I didn’t think it look good anyway from sample images. It didn’t strike me as “Oh, that looks like Taiga”
The Smiling face was very squarish looking and the other faces were just meh… The rest was actually pretty good, but if you mess up the face on a figure the whole thing is ruined.

She’s okay at some angles, but too cost too much for that quality.
I only own exclusive Taiga figure (swimsuit version) from Kotobukiya. It’s not anime accurate but more toward original illustrator accurate. Also the cuteness was too hard to resist.
Kagami looks much better.
The Izumi’s face looks….as if she begs for money
hah people should buy the whole set. This figure cant stand alone ^__^ just like Candy Boy figures from GSC
